Agave Hall Repurposing

Chandler Gilbert Community College

Agave Hall underwent a significant repurposing to become the new center for music and arts at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Within the refreshed shell of the 1986 building now sits a instrumental rehearsal room, choral rehearsal room, ensemble room, two dance rooms, a recording booth, multiple practice rooms, a music library, piano lab, and an instrument repair room. A large community meeting space hosts events and joint functions while connecting the wing of general classrooms and faculty offices to the remainder of the building.

Upon completion, Randy Wright, Communication and Fine Arts Director of Instrumental Music, expressed enthusiasm about Agave Hall, noting that it generates remarkable energy and excitement amongst students. He highlighted that Agave Hall is providing a range of new opportunities for student performers and elevating the college's music program to new heights.

MCH provided full-scope acoustical and AV consulting throughout.
