ACOUSTICAL
MCH seeks a junior to mid-level acoustical consultant who embraces challenge, demonstrates strong communication and technical skills, and is passionate about consulting and architectural acoustics.

We are excited about consulting and working together as a team with our clients. We address a range of building types, with special fondness for our many performing arts projects. You will work closely with our Principals and coordinate with our AV/Media Systems Group.

We look for these qualifications:

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with coursework in architectural acoustics
-
Proficiency with analysis and calculations for room acoustics, sound/impact isolation, and HVAC noise/vibration control
-
Familiarity with field measurements and observations
-
Interest in professional society engagement
-
Keen interest in performing arts
-
Familiarity with modeling and auralization (SketchUp, AutoCAD, CATT-A, EASE, basic coding, etc.) is desirable

Experience with project management and proposals is desirable
